Gun control and Virginia shooting

The gun has long been a symbol of power and courage. In most countries it is also frequently tied to independence, freedom, respect, and patriotism. Nowadays, guns control is one of the most important, controversial and intractable issue, especially in the USA. At the heart of this debate is the relationship between the rights of the citizen and the government's duty to provide for the common defense versus the government's authority to regulate firearms. The most debatable question over gun ownership is centered on the Second Amendment to the Constitution, which protects "the right of the people to keep and bear arms." Some people are against this amendment, but other agree with it and say that this amendment should be done more earlier.
The 16th of April was the sad day for the all world. There was lurid school shooting in Virginia which took lives from 32 people. There were two separate attacks about two hours apart on the campus of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg. Seung-Hui Cho killed 32 people and wounded many more before committing suicide. Cho used two firearms during the attacks. Several people tried to help others during the attack but it didn't help.
Cho was a South Korean who had moved to the U.S. at age eight. He was 23 years old. At the time of the shootings, he was a senior majoring in English at Virginia Tech. In 2005, he was declared mentally ill by a Virginia special justice. Nevertheless, no-one heeded to him and his behaviour. It had to be more attention from social workers or psychologists.
In the end, it is the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history, which shown that gun control issue is still most important issue in the world and there should be taking more responsibility of using and selling guns.
